I just started watching Futurama on DVD about 6 months ago, I never saw the origial broadcasts. I got the first season, and got hooked, now I've got all 4 seasons in my library! I'm just finished the 2nd season Christmas show, wow, what a spin on Santa Claus!
My favorite so far is " A Head In The Poles", which has to be one of the best cartoons I've ever seen, ever!! I thought "Hell Is Other Robots" was good, and I thought the Simpsons were good, but that was fantastic. Just the concept of Nixon's head running for president was far out. Into the 4rd show, it seems that almost every line of the second season is tight and overall on another level beyond the first season. Does the show keep getting better, or is it going to peak soon?

Mon, January 15, 2007 - 4:10 PMCongrats on getting the full set! My favorite episodes for writing and story plot are "The Sting," "Roswell that ends well," and "The luck of the Fryish." My favorite funny episodes that always crack me up are "The problem with popplers" and "Three hundred big boys." -

Tue, January 16, 2007 - 1:15 PMYou just hit on most of my favorites. The Sting, Luck of the Fryish and 300 Big Boys (just for the coffee scene). There's also the one where Zoidberg goes on trial for destroying a flag on Freedom Day, not sure which season probably the last one.
